Samba Injury Blow

Rovers captain Chris Samba will be out of action for the next few weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Chelsea.
Prospects Good For Injured Trio
Junior Hoilett, David Dunn and Michel Salgado will have late fitness tests ahead of Saturday’s match at West Ham United.
Nelsen Ruled Out

Rovers stalwart Ryan Nelsen has been ruled out for the rest of the season after an operation on his knee. Junior Hoilett has a 50/50 chance of playing against Everton on Saturday, while Gael Givet is back in contention for a starting place.
Team News: Fulham

Friday’s press conference has revealed a number of changes for tomorrow’s team to face Fulham. Samba returns to the defence, replacing the suspended Ryan Nelsen, and it’s still too early for Phil Jones to make a return. As anticipated, Dunn is out and Roque Santa Cruz will face a late fitness check on his injured back. People looking forward to seeing our new signings in action will be disappointed as Formica already has a hamstring injury, but better news is that Rochina has made the squad.
Fitness Update
Whilst Steve Nzonzi’s hamstring strain keeps him out of Saturday’s game against Chelsea, Ryan Nelsen, Chris Samba, Vince Grella and Jason Roberts are all available.
Fitness Update
The club’s official text service has just announced that Nelsen and Salgado face late fitness checks before the Fulham game on Saturday. Keith Andrews is also reported to be still sidelined.
