El Hadji Diouf has signed for Rangers on loan until the end of the season and could play against Celtic in the old firm derby this weekend.

Former Ewood favourite Roque Santa Cruz is returning to the club on a six-month loan from Manchester City.

BRFCS have it on good authority that the much-rumoured return of Roque Santa Cruz is now a done deal. Sources at Ewood Park have confirmed to BRFCS that the deal to bring Roque Santa Cruz is complete. He will join Rovers on a half-season loan. Blackman Pens New Deal
Rovers have confirmed this morning that striker Nick Blackman has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal. This season Blackman has been on a half-year loan with Scottish Premier League side Motherwell for whom he has scored 10 goals in 18 appearances. The new deal will run until the summer of 2013.
Solid Debut For On Loan Kean
Blackburn’s Jake Kean, out on a month’s loan to Hartlepool United, was praised by United manager Mick Wadsworth after the young keeper helped Hartlepool gain a point in their 0-0 draw against Brentford yesterday. Northern Echo Match Report
Benjani Signs
Rovers have confirmed that striker Benjani has signed a one-year deal. The Zimbabwe international was linked with Rovers during the January transfer window but ended up joining Sunderland on loan.

Rovers have confirmed this evening that they have secured the services of Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf on a season-long loan deal. The 22-year-old joined United in July 2009 and could figure in Rovers friendly against Hearts tomorrow.
