BRFCS Blogs

Ever fancied writing a Rovers Blog? Now is your chance.
Basically we'll set you up with a WordPress based blog, on this server, under your own subdomain (eg yourblogname.brfcs.co.uk) although you can choose to buy your own domain name to use as well (e.g. www.yourblogname.com) and off you go. FOR FREE !
There are a few basic conditions.
1. You abide to the forums guidelines in terms of content.
2. You can only use themes/skins we approve (and they are likely to carry our advertising on them ... that's how we can do this for free).
3. Your blog must be Rovers related in some way (no "what I had for lunch" or "My Cat Mittens" blogs)
4. We have non-exclusive rights to use your content on the main news site and re-edit that version of it as we see fit (I envisage this will normally be a "featured blog post" type thing and include a link back to you).
5. We can close your blog at any time, for any reason, but you still have rights to your content.
At first this'll just be a "by request only" service, so we can see how it goes and I do stress early adopters will need some patience as we iron out all the kinks.
Feel free to ask questions below.

How do I set mine up? I wouldn't mind having a go at one mainly because I want to get some practice in at writing again because I'm back at uni in a few weeks.
Steve Kean get out now

It's not automated yet, but PM me a name for it and your email address (in case the one you registered on here isn't correct any more) and I'll do the later (later this morning, it's podcast time now).

Glenn sorry I did not know the way to do this but thought this blog would be interesting to have on here:
http://themarpleleaf...ckburn%20rovers
thought people might be interested and seeing as though our favourite parochial is a regular on there would be easy to get hold of if you were thinking of getting him in to do an interview with Vinjay for a future podcast would be very interested to hear his comments on things!.

I'd love to get Michael (author of The Marple Leaf) on here, but I'd suspect he enjoys the indepedance (plus, a lof of his stuff isn't about Rovers), we've also been talking to him about getting him on the podcast.
As for Vinjay, it has been discussed, but even if we wanted to, I don't he'd want to.

Abbey I've always wondered, are you keen on the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow? I have an incling.
Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long.
We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious.....And curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
